Buy & Sell Items from Vending Machines
Vending Machines act as shops or traders in Borderlands 3 where you can sell and purchase items. You can find them in multiple locations in the game.

Each Vending Machine sells particular products types. For example, you can only buy healing items from Medical Vending Machines and ammo from Ammunitions Vending Machines.
Requires Money & Other Currencies
Vending Machines only accept specific currencies. Products being sold will have the price in the currency it accepts.
Buy Back Sold Products
If you accidentally sold an item, don't worry because Vending Machines will allow you to buy back your items for the same price. However, sold products will be gone once you exit the Vending Machine.
Purchased Items are Sold at a Fraction
What you have to be really careful about is buying items from the Vending Machines. They'll only be sold at a fraction of the price of when you bought it.
Features an Item for the Day
Item for the Day are limited-time items sold within a time limit. They're often of higher quality than the rest on the Vending Machine so watch out for them.
Legendary Items can be Sold
On some rare chances, Legendary Items can be sold as the Item of the Day. These will cost a lot more money so you might need to farm for them.

1 | Go back to Sanctuary and talk to Lilith |
2 | Look out the window then say goodbye to Tannis, Ava, Ellie & Marcus |
3 | Talk to Lilith then head down to Roland's Rest in Pandora |
4 | Speak with Vaughn then follow your marker to catch up to Tannis |
5 | Once in the area, clear it of COV troops then meet up with Tannis |
6 | Follow your objective marker to get to the Cathedral of the Twin Gods |
7 | Go to the upper levels and use the lever to open the sanctum door |
8 | Move inside to get into the inner sanctum - kill The Anointed enemies |
9 | Find the 4 valves and turn them to raise the processing tank pressure |
10 | Shoot the pipe to make it explode |
11 | Jump down to get into The Great Vault |
12 | Move forward to find Tyreen and Troy |
13 | Defeat Troy |
14 | After defeating Troy, investigate the ECHO device |
15 | Talk to Lilith then go into the Vault to loot it |
16 | After looting the Vault, head back to Tannis to speak with her & complete the mission |
5~7. Fight Your Way Through Area
Use Barrels To Cause Explosive Damage
When facing throngs of enemies, you can control crowds by shooting elemental barrels you'll find in the area. These explode and has a wide range of damage.
Bring Elemental Weapons To Fights
Elemental weapons are extremely useful against crowds of enemies. Corrosion and radiation clouds do good damage over time, allowing you to tick down enemy health as the fight goes on.
8. Defeat The Anointed Enemies
Raphael Is Weak To Electricity
Raphael The Anointed will have a blue shield bar, making him weak against electric damage. Bring an electricity weapon to bring his shield down faster.
Use Head Shots On Luke
Luke is hard to get close to due to his AoE attacks and his Eridium shield. It's best to use a scoped weapon and deal critical head shots to lessen his HP.
Troy - Boss Battle Tips
Jump or Move Between Energy Balls
Borderlands 3 Slot Machine Guide
When Troy summons his energy balls, keep distance and jump or move in between them to avoid taking damage. He can do this move in several bursts and can damage you greatly if you don't dodge.
Borderlands 3 Moxxi Slot Machine
Does Vertical + Horizontal Sweep
Troy doesn't just send out horizontal sweeps of the energy balls. He also does a move that has a vertical sweep. Jump and move the side to avoid taking damage.
Open For Attacks When Shooting With Gun
Troy can be very vulnerable when he's slowing walking towards you and shooting you with his gun. Just step to the side and keep moving while shooting him to lower his HP.
Charges Up When Going To Tyreen
When you reach a certain threshold in Troy's HP bar, he'll go back to Tyreen and charge up with her. The field will have mob spawns, pillars of fire, and laser beams, so keep mobile.
Smashes Ground With Big Rock Sword
When Troy summons a big rock sword, he'll smash it down into the ground. Move away from its trajectory to keep from getting hit.
Borderlands 3 Slot Machine Rewards
Stay By Gate To Avoid Rocks
When Troy's HP starts to get low, he'll start summoning giant rocks and fling them towards you. Use the Vault Gate as a reference to find the safe point where you won't get hit by the flying rocks.
